# Turning on AI auto-tagging

**AI auto-tagging** lets Collage do the heavy lifting by automatically applying relevant tags to assets as you upload them. It's an account-level setting, so turning it on affects new uploads across your **workspace**.

## Where to find AI auto-tagging

AI auto-tagging lives in **Account Settings**. Scroll to the bottom of the main content area to find the **AI auto-tagging** label and its toggle.

## Turn on AI auto-tagging

The toggle is **off by default**. To enable it:

1. Click the toggle to slide it to **On**.
2. Your change **saves automatically** — there's no need to click **Update**.
3. You'll see a quick confirmation that AI auto-tagging is enabled.

From then on, every new upload — including files added by **drag and drop** — is scanned by AI, which applies relevant tags automatically. This keeps your library searchable without manual effort.

## Switch back to manual tagging

Click the toggle again to turn the feature off; future uploads will no longer receive automatic tags.

> Even with AI auto-tagging off, you can still tag assets by hand at any time.
