# Touring the asset detail page

The asset detail view is where you manage a single **asset** in Collage — its metadata, visibility, tags, analytics, and more. Opening an asset brings you to this page, organized into a breadcrumb, an option menu, and a set of tabs.

## Navigate with the breadcrumb

The **breadcrumb path** at the top of the screen shows your current location in the folder hierarchy, for example `Home > Marketing Assets > Product Photos`. Click any segment to jump straight back to that **folder**.

> Breadcrumbs are especially handy for quickly navigating to related assets.

## Open the asset option menu

Click the **three-dot menu** on an asset (or right-click it) to reach its actions:

- **Add to Collage** — place the asset into a new or existing **Collage**.
- **Move** — relocate the asset to a different folder.
- **Delete** — send the asset to the **Trash**.

**Share** and **Download** are also available, but as toolbar icons above the asset rather than items in this menu.

## Explore the detail tabs

- **Asset Info** — metadata (uploaded by, upload date, last updated, file type, size, dimensions), a **Portals** section with a visibility switch for each brand portal the asset can be published to, and the **Description** field for usage notes. - **Tags** — label the asset with searchable keywords. See [tagging and custom fields](https://support.collage.inc/articles/tagging-and-custom-fields).
- **Custom Fields** — add structured metadata fields configured by your workspace admin.
- **Insights** — per-asset analytics: **Views**, **Downloads**, and **Shares**, plus a **Last 7 Days** activity chart.
- **Collage** — add the asset to a Collage from within the detail view. See [adding content to Collages](https://support.collage.inc/articles/adding-content-to-collages).
- **Version History** — upload and manage file versions without overwriting older ones. See [version history](https://support.collage.inc/articles/version-history).
- **Edit** *(images only)* — crop, resize, and rotate images without an external tool. Available on desktop screens (1260px and wider), and only on plans that include image editing.
